In recent years, the rapid development of intensive and super-intensive shrimp farming models, along with the continuous expansion of shrimp farming areas, has increased significantly. As a result, the shrimp farming environment has become increasingly polluted due to the excessive discharge of waste into the environment, leading to the outbreak of many dangerous diseases affecting farmed shrimp.
Among these diseases is parasitic worm infection in shrimp. Parasitic worm diseases do not cause mass mortality or sudden death in shrimp; instead, they result in slow growth and gradual mortality, typically occurring from around 30 days of culture until harvest. Over time, the exact cause of the disease has not been accurately identified, leading farmers to use many different medications without achieving effective treatment.
To address this urgent issue, Toan Cau Aquaculture Co., Ltd. has now implemented additional diagnostic testing for parasitic worm infections on shrimp samples submitted to the company’s laboratories nationwide. This service aims to help shrimp farmers accurately and promptly detect parasitic worm infections, thereby enabling timely and effective disease management.
SYMPTOMS OF PARASITIC WORM INFECTION:
Shrimp continue to feed normally but exhibit slow growth, sluggish responses, swollen or atrophied hepatopancreas, and often die during the molting cycle. Microscopic examination reveals the presence of parasitic worms in the hepatopancreas, intestines, and muscle tissues.
INGREDIENTS:
-Ditepenic Phenol …………………………………. 30%
-Inert ingredients ………………………………….. 10%
-Excipients, Polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate …….. 60%
FUNCTIONS:
-Supports the treatment of parasitic worm infections in the hepatopancreas, intestines, and muscle tissues of farmed shrimp.
-Eliminates all eggs and larvae of parasitic worms present in the shrimp’s body, helping shrimp rapidly recover normal growth rates.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
-When parasitic worm infection is detected:
Use 500 ml K VIO / 1,000 m³ of pond water. Dilute K VIO with 20 liters of pond water and evenly apply over the entire pond.
-Feed treatment:
Mix KILL WORM at 10 ml / 1 kg of feed, feed 3 times per day for 3 consecutive days.
-For pond liner cleaning:
Use 500 g / 1,000 m². In severe cases, apply one additional treatment.
NET VOLUME:
500 ml / bottle
NOTE:
Dosage may be adjusted depending on the actual condition of the pond.
STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
